Meet the President
The Vision of Inga Hendrickson-Brown, the President
Inga

“Anything you do for the Kingdom of God must be done with the highest level of excellence.” This motto has been embedded into the very core of Inga Hendrickson-Brown. Born to the parents of Michael and Jane Hendrickson, Inga is the second of three children. She is a native of the beautiful island of St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. Inga was fortunate to have parents who not only recognized her love for life and ministry, but encouraged her to pursue her dreams.

Inga has always been actively involved in ministry and the community. From Sunday school recitals, plays and dramas to feeding the less fortunate and homeless. She knew her love for people and creative abilities could be utilized for the kingdom so she became actively involved in Women’s Ministry, Altar Ministry and Youth Ministry of the world renowned Faith Center in Sunrise, Florida under the incomparable leadership of Bishop Henry & Pastor Carol Fernandez. She truly became alive when she joined the Fine Arts Ministry and began ministering in dance.

Inga’s love for the Lord and passion for dance was ignited at the tender age of eight. She truly believes that through dance, bondages, yokes and chains can be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. In 1985, Inga was fortunate to be among the first Christian liturgical dancers on the island of St. Maarten. She has had the opportunity to minister on several islands in the Caribbean and in the United States. Inga, along with her mother and sister, hosts yearly concerts and conduct workshops throughout the Caribbean. She is presently the Overseas Liaison for Dance Dimensions Academy in St. Maarten as well as a dance instructor at The Faith Center Ministries in Florida.

Inga understands how important it is to listen and be obedient to the voice and the leading of Holy Spirit. Following His leading, she migrated to the United States where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing as well as a dual Masters’ Degrees in Business Administration and Human Resource Management. Inga has an innate ability to ignite and rekindle people’s ‘first love.’ She sparks the flames of their passions and desires by inspiring them to achieve more than just mediocrity in life and in God. Touching and changing lives by ‘pulling purpose’ through empowerment is what she believes she has been called on earth to accomplish.

Blessed with the administrative ability to coordinate, plan and execute, Inga Hendrickson-Brown always finds great pleasure in initiating intimate social gatherings. It did not take very long for her to realize that God was using these gatherings to fulfill purpose in her life and in the lives of those she associated with. A “hunger” was placed within her to help people who were searching to find, understand and fulfill purpose. In the year, 2004, after praying and seeking the Lord’s guidance, the name ‘God’s Chosen Gems’ came into existence. With it, the pursuit of Kingdom purpose was born. Inga believes each person is handpicked by God Himself to fulfill His will. She desires that through God’s Chosen Gems families will be strengthened; ethical, personal and moral values will be maintained and up-lifted; and God’s people will move from poverty to empowerment. These will be accomplished through yearly conferences, seminars, training, motivational speaking and workshops.

Inga is married to “God’s Chosen Man”, Wilfred Brown. He has been her partner, guiding strength and supporter. Together, they are proud parents of their beautiful baby girl, Jaleena Sharla. Wilfred and Inga are ordained Ministers at The Faith Center Ministries.

John 15:16 - You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.
