Marlene Grant-Baugh was born on the wonderful island of Nassau Bahamas and the oldest of four children. She migrated to the Unites States at age 18 where she earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Florida Metropolitan University. She later met the love of her life Richard Baugh and they recently celebrated the birth of their first born, Ethan. She is presently a customer service representative at a credit counseling agency in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Marlene believes in giving her best to others at all times and feels most alive when she has opportunities to be a blessing. She has been an asset to God’s Chosen Gems from its inception in 2004 and holds the position of Assistant Program Director.

Originally from the island of Panama, Alyeda Marin-Cordoba migrated to the United States where she met and married her husband Reuben. She graduated from (La Escuela de Enfermeria del Hospital Regional de Azuerro)/ The School of Nursing of Azuerro Regional Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Aleyda did her Post graduate work in Pediatric and Maternal Health. She served as Head Nurse of pediatrics at Manuel Madero Guerrero Hospital and served as Head Nurse and Supervisor of the Pediatrics department at El Samaritano Hospital in Panama. Aleyda currently works as a Private Care Nurse and is an intercessor for God’s Chosen Gems.

Deborah Hector, initially from Kingston, Jamaica, now resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida along with her husband, Robert and their son, Brian. She has extensive experience in the business field ranging from banking to government. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science from the Florida Metropolitan University and was honored to be the Valedictorian of her graduating class. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters of Management degree. She is also a Certified Professional Secretary. Her continued advocacy for improvement through education has allowed her the opportunity to guide and mentor students for the past eight years in pursuing their educational goals and directing them towards their overall career objectives. She cares deeply for others and shows it mainly through her strong sense of responsibility, which is the main reason for her firm affiliation with God’s Chosen Gems. She serves as the Administrative Assistant. She also serves as a Minister at the Faith Center Ministries in Sunrise, Florida.

Jennifer McCrea is a Licensed Senior Claims Adjuster for an Auto Insurance Company. She has been working in this industry for the past 14 years. She is happily married with two beautiful children ages 19 and 10 years old. Jennifer is extremely customer orientated with excellent people skills. She is objective and results-driven in analyzing and meeting needs of those she comes in contact with. Her strong interpersonal and communication demeanor enables her to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds. She considers herself to be a team player and believes in being an attentive listener. Jennifer loves to motivate people to be all they can be. She is excited about the "Lord Jesus Christ" who is her rock and her fortress. Jennifer is also proud to be a part of the work God is doing in God’s Chosen Gems where she serves in the Hospitality Department.

Francesca Prendergast is a licensed and ordained Evangelist. She is a recent graduate of the University of Fort Lauderdale where she earned her degree in Ministry and graduated with the highest GPA of her class. Francesca has also been developed in Kingdom Leadership through several other avenues. One such avenue is volunteering in various capacities and ministries including Henry Fernandez Ministries, God’s Chosen Gems, Joel Osteen Ministries and Promise Keepers. Francesca’s passion remains bringing the Light of Jesus Christ to a dark world. She participates in numerous missionaries, evangelical and youth ministry opportunities both in the local community and abroad. She travels internationally to such countries as Israel, Egypt, Italy and several countries throughout the Caribbean region delivering prophetic messages and messages of hope during times of peace and times of uncertainty.

Winsome Tapper is married with five children. Her love for others opened the door for her to be a caretaker to those in need. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant and wellness coach and is presently is pursuing her degree in Massage Therapy. Winsome believes in the vision of God’s Chosen Gems and she functions in the ministry as the Hospitality Director. She strives to make a difference in one person’s life every day. She works as a private care taker and enjoys her role. She loves the Lord and is considered a people person.

Suzzette Turnbull has obediently answered the call to serve at God’s Chosen Gems. While contemplating an entrepreneurial venture, she was led to the Brown’s family where she soon after began serving as the Administrative Director for God’s Chosen Gems. Presently she manages the administrative systems of the organization and provides support to the President. Passionate about the Lord and her commitment to Christ, Suzzette is honored to be among a team of Christians walking in faith. From 2006-2008, she led the development and implementation of an exciting initiative at the Robert Toigo Foundation, ToigoTalks™, aimed at promoting graduate business education and careers in finance to minority undergraduate students. Prior to working with the Robert Toigo Foundation, she was the Associate Director of the MBA Program at Simmons School of Management in Boston, Massachusetts where she also served on the Admissions Review Committee and as an advisor to both the Women of Color Club and the International Student Club. Previously, she was Associate Director of Development at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and Assistant Director of Development Operations at Simmons School of Management. She graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Simmons School of Management and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Florida Atlantic University.
